Overview

FeedTriage helps Shopify merchants understand Google Merchant Center diagnostics CSV exports. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you use FeedTriage, we may collect the following information:

  • CSV files you upload, including product IDs, product titles, issue descriptions, submitted values, links, and other columns included in your export.
  • Report data generated from your CSV, including detected columns, issue classifications, product-level rows, and recommended fixes.
  • Technical information such as IP address, user agent, request logs, error logs, and security events.
  • Information you send us directly, such as your email address and the contents of a support or cleanup quote request.
  • Payment-related information handled by our payment provider if you unlock a paid report. We do not store full card numbers.

What we do not collect

FeedTriage does not require a user account. FeedTriage does not require Shopify OAuth, Google OAuth, Shopify admin access, or Google Merchant Center account access.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Parse your diagnostics CSV.
  • Detect and confirm CSV columns.
  • Classify Merchant Center issues by fixability.
  • Generate your free preview and full report.
  • Provide CSV export and report access through secret URLs.
  • Respond to support, cleanup quote, or admin unlock requests.
  • Protect the service from abuse, errors, and security issues.
  • Improve FeedTriage based on aggregated usage and error patterns.

Report URLs and sharing

Reports are accessed through secret URLs. Anyone with a secret report URL may be able to view that report. Do not share report URLs publicly or with people who should not see your product data.

Retention

Reports and related data are deleted after 30 days.

Service providers

We may use third-party service providers for hosting, databases, rate limiting, payments, email, analytics, logging, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to help us operate FeedTriage.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for keeping report URLs private and for uploading only data you are allowed to share with FeedTriage.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete a report, answer questions about your data, or correct information you sent us. Contact us at contact@feedtriage.com.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, request correction, request deletion, restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

International processing

FeedTriage and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. By using FeedTriage, you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as FeedTriage changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
